It Is Really True, My Dear Poet

 

I wish to know what you said

Thouh the moon is not enlightening

With all my sense about your lyric

I want to know if it is true

 

Yet, let me tell thy story about it, my dear fellow poet!

In order not to be a puzzle from now and then

My feeling is exactly what you mean

Never i debate for a while

Since the sun be a witnesses

 

We are the players on it

As far as this world gives smile

And all of us say thanks

Because of its kindness

That's a dream existed

That OPA is really true

 

All the poets are extravagant to write

Since their pens are dancing in writing poems

The world read them

It looks like golden daffodils to be blooming

From days to days and years to years

The poetic writings are singing

Harmony

 

I always listen the crying of people around

Screaming all the night

That corona virus is coming

My lyric is full of image

 

How this world be spoilt

No irony, no voice

The nature is really stiff

Makes thy heart be isolate

 

How this life be in harmony

If this world is not in safety

All the trees on the street are crying

To ask the rain comes down

 

Not to be locked down

Make the lives be in suffering

All of them need harmony

It is the center of the universe

 

That is touched in heart

To share the real step to come out

Instead of being killed by virus

Where is the vaccine?

Singing With The Wind

 

Singing with the wind

with my beautiful wife

To praise how nature is kind

like angels from radiant claim

 

The wind blows in the morning

And i merely gaze how smooth it is

My mind is on the top of the wind

That makes the world be happy

 

Though it sometimes brings disaster

If a part of human beings has no thanks

What should be done at all

Let the sun provide its lighting to clarify

 

That really be a puzzle

How nature gets angry to what is being done

While this poem illustrates

That's the final execution

SIAMIR MARULAFAU was born in Nias, North Sumatra-Indonesia,17-05-1958.He was graduated from English and Literature Department, Faculty of Cultural Study, University of North Sumatra, Medan-Indonesia. He is now still teaching English and Literature, and writing poems and short stories. His works were mostly published in social medias such "HUMANITY"(2015);"LIGHTING” (2016), and some other works or poems   in Indonesian language and English. He was a poet and  conducted a scientific paper and research in Terengganu,Malaysia,2017, Pahang,2017,USM Penang,2017,Singapore,2018, UPM,Malaysia,2018 and UNY,Yokyakarta,2018,and University of Gajahmada (UGM),2020
