Dreams Of Love

 

I lived your dreams,

and they were mine too...

 

From the dreamlike crack,

and in the twilight

of our soul,

melancholy penetrates

of those nights and those days

that we will never live.

 

I live your dreams

and they are mine too.

 

But, beyond the twilight

of life,

and beyond the ancient illusions,

I know our looks

they will meet again...

and it will be a spark for eternity.

The Dreams Of The Heart

 

Nobody knows what's inside

to the pond of my heart

dreams still lie intact,

despite the small ripples

created by the passage of time.

They are all precious chimeras

which resurface from the oblivion of my soul,

enclosing this ancient love of ours

which has never been experienced

and which seem to have the taste of reality.

New Dawn

 

Evening arrives

and together with it

in silence, sometimes,

the soul arrives

in anguish.

Here, it envelops it

and crushes it, forcefully,

until you feel it

completely at the mercy

of loss.

It is profound anxiety,

that penetrates slowly,

twisting

strong in the center

of our womb.

It radiates totally

in our whole being,

leaving us exhausted,

breathless and deprived

of every positive thought.

But at every sunset

a new dawn will always follow

that he brings with him

a rainbow

of renewed hope.

CONCETTA LA PLACA

 

CONCETTA LA PLACA: The author, Concetta la Placa, was born in Caltanissetta in Sicily on 07/30/1960 and lives in Rome. From an early age she has always shown that she has a creative nature. She holds a degree in administration and management of social policies. She loves literature and poetry in general. She is passionate about reading and creative writing. In December 2020 her first collection of poems was published, entitled "Cosmic Love and Emotions in the Wind". It is a collection of 55 poems, all linked by a single common thread: Cosmic Love, which is love for the little things that surround us in this immensity and love for simplicity, enriched only by pure emotions and true feelings. The author has published several poems in numerous national and international anthologies of various authors and various contests to which she has contributed with her participation. The list of publications would be a bit long and is therefore omitted.
