SLAVI AVIK HARUTYUNYAN

SPRING

in your open raincoat

wet edges of the sky gathered together

You and I

I was your wolf

You were my moon

nights of a lifetime

I am howling after your light.

MOSCOW

traffic in the street,

someone at his house,

helpless

Is dying alone

APRIL

the tree is blooming

the white buttons of her blouse

will open now

REALITY

the only reality of these mountains

is a bird's flight

MORNING

The apple trees blossomed

Yerevan is putting a pink lipstick on the lips of Nork

Clouds

Clouds full of rain

Gone with winds are my promises to you

Video

The best kisses

stayed in this video,

not shown,

on the lips of my movie tape

IN SOTQ MOUNTAINS

already below

the road's curve

like a snake with a broken head

breathes heavily widespread

At Nights

Barsa’s sky is a turning sea

with a streaming school of fish

RETURN

Along with the books that I read something

Goes back to the libraries

 So that it will reach

to others

The Oak Tree:

The lonely oak at the edge of the forest

is my unwritten novel about you

It’s gonna strike a lightning at any time

THE SEA

these white seagulls touching sunset waters

are my letters unsent to you.

You

Only you would call on the home phone

and ask

“What’s new - are you home?"

WORDS

words come out of line

like falling rockets?????

Trains:

sometimes

When

It’s no more needed

these trains

Arrive just on time

CONFIDENCE

It's easy to get lost

When the way is straight.

Solitary

we live

alone

Among

Billions of people

like us

groping

like the Planet Earth

In this

infinite space

that still

rotates

while abandoned

By God forever.

IN THE VILLAGE

From this

quiet

cutting trees of this forest

like the sweat is dripping from

my father's forehead

and cools down

in my palms

Hunting

here they

shoot

high-flying

birds

for others

traps are set

In the bushes

AT THE STATION

to find myself

I'm leaving without a suitcase

On a random train

No one is waiting for me there

In Siberia

In freezing weather

The snow is sneaking under your feet.

In order not to fall

You need to keep your shoulders straight.

NIGHTS

Barsa’s sky is a turning sea

with streaming school of fish.

RETURN

Along with the books

That I have read something

comes back to the libraries

to reach

to others.

The Oak tree:

The lonely oak on the edge of the forest

It's my unwritten novel about you

wherever the lightning strikes

THE SEA

sunset

These white gulls scalded by the waters

they are not my letters sent to you

DO

you only call home by phone

and you will.

"What are you"

WORDS

words are spelled out of line

how does it start?

on

rockets

TRAVELS

sometimes

when?

already

do not

these trains

Arriving:

just in time

CONFIDENCE

when it's straight

on the way

It's easy to get lost

CHINA

this country

along with the sun

balancing

our planet!

BED

we are

alone

We live

billion

like us

people

in

frowning

like Earth

the planet

this

infinite

in the space

that

rotates

still

From God

endless

abandoned?

VILLAGE

this

nonsense

forest

crossing

trees

as if

my father's forehead

the sweat is

flowing

and cool

to my palm

in

HORSES

here

shoot

high-flying

on birds

for others

are traps

strain

furrows

STORE

to find me

without suitcases

I'm leaving

accidentally

by train

there

no one to me

does not wait

SIBERAME

frosts

under your feet

conspirator

crunching

snow

your feet?

so that they do not

your shoulder

Keep it straight
