A Mother's Love
A mother's love,
food for thought
Rich and
nutritious to the soul
To the table so
many ingredients brought
Seemingly full
knowledge, wisdom abound
Learning,
thinking on her feet
No manual or
guidebook around
Yet prevailing
under many a pressure
Her love and
protection knows no bounds
The epitome of
nourishment
On any given
ground
Generosity and
sound advice
A virtue to her
overflowing pot
A light in many
a dark time
Helping no
matter what the cost
She will always
enfold you
Make you feel
brand new.

Bloom...
You make my soul
bloom
In hues of
glistening
Iridescent
pigmentation.

Body Shock...
Raw unhealed
wounds
That reflect a
pain painted with sorrow
Where teardrops
fall frequently
Still unable to
comprehend
Process all that
has happened
Living on auto
pilot
Existing in
shadows
Whilst trying to
pick up the pieces
To start living
again.

Dreams Reprieves
I rise up in
dreams
Sick of this
grisly scene
Life getting me
down
So bleak, so
mean
In dreams I am
free
To explore and
expand
No ties of
monotony
No tears to
withstand
A least for a
while
I am unweighted,
unbound
Healing o dreams
Where answers
can be found.

Emotional Write-out
A spiller of
words
When things get
hard to bear
Spilling ink
upon paper
Without a
thought
Without a care
Releasing all
the pent-up frustrations
Declarations of
love, anger and remorse
Feeling
light-headed with unburdening
Once more back
on course.

Fabricated
Shaped and moulded
By the fabric of life
There are layers and layers to me
Rich in textures and depths
Filled with a multitude of emotions
A shrouded well of deep memories.
