Destiny
We drift on
borrowed wind,
Held by a thread
we never feel.
With a sardonic,
derisive smile
We mock the
clouds,
Beyond a guess
that the thread might tangle.
The sudden dive
and the soaring climb
With the bluish
bliss of a sure plunge
Slips off the
sequence in a heartbeat,
Far from the
hand in a dipping drive.
It does not
matter
If the mind-kite
could love the sky for its height.
But it enlists
how it feels
To dance on the
edges of a whirling tumult.
Maybe
Thar desires
cling to earth,
Yet we look up
against doubt and fear,
Wondering who
holds whom, and from where
Just like the
kite and its keeper.
The Cobweb
Some lives are
short,
While some
others stretch long.
And for some,
death awaits at the doorstep;
While for
others, it looms silently overhead.
Who knows
If tomorrow's sun will rise for any of
us?
Or if anyone is
upset today
May also
continue in that state tomorrow.
Life, with a
basket of uncertainties,
Defines destiny
positively or otherwise.
And as destiny
dances with the daring,
One must
inculcate courage
To let not the
precious relationships fall apart
Over casual
misunderstandings.
Of course,
There must be a
second option
To undo any
tight knots
Before the
cobweb of time slips through the fingers.
