SOFIA SKLEIDA

SOFIA SKLEIDA

ARID LINES

Arid lines, routes,
everywhere shadows and you cry.
Everywhere silence, loneliness without light,
without anything to say.
How to pronounce, everything I want to see,
to endure the purpose.
Inside me is born, alive, this terrible robber
like an alien warrior.
The world has now changed,
nothing is in order,
as happens in the garrison.
Why all these happens,
and to these civilized children
who will teach the right?
What will happen to the few visionaries?
Dying in the past?
Why do we all struggle,
without any reward to tie our dreams?
The heroes have died, they do not stay with us
in the depth of our soul.
Let΄s pray, continue to dream
and not to be left prey to our fate…

HOURGLASS RECYCLING

The night is embarrassing
Dressed officially
is adorned
Opens her wings
addressed to us
The new day now is growing up
Both of them conspire
another dawn to come

VIAGGISPERDUTI
(Lost Travel)

In those frayed moments,
when the dream was lost
and the imagination invented shady games,
the body shared unnecessarily
in many transatlantic travels
What to say about San Diego, Bilbao,
Cabo San Lucas and New York.
the forgotten civilizations
Maia and Inca
And what about the island in the Indian Ocean
waiting for us

Bahamas, Maldives And Ibiza,
looking for paradise.
White sandy beaches,
rare corals, wilderness.
I was looking, I wished, I longed for ...
And when I went to the twin towers,
I was blurred by the divine vision
Like an eternal magic ...
Then I realized our smallness,
but even more our humanity ...
