his gaze marked my way

pinned up my star on the sky

years passed

now I’m walking slowly at the end of the road

and I’m watching if anybody comes towards me

Unchangeable

MIHÁLY BENCZE

MIHÁLY BENCZE, well-known Hungarian poet in Transsilvania, Romania, was born in 1954. In 1978 he became  a teacher of mathematics at the University of Cluj-Napoca, and edited mathematical journals, followed by a samizdat magazine titled Hipstern and then Brasov Booklets. Since 1990 he is a teacher at the Hungarian Secondary School in Brasov. Founded the publishing house, Fulgur, writes poems. In 1996, he published his first book of poems.
