JASMINA SFILIGOJ

Revenge

I am not hurt by people

Malicious and jealousy

It´s easy to stay away

Those without courtesy

I care about nice people

Just a few of them reach me

If they turn out to be fake

Something they´ll teach me

I´ll remember betrayal

And I will never forget

If my pain is a lesson

There will be no regret

My heart is a phoenix

And my pen is a sword

The mightiest weapon

It´s always the word

The Color Of Love

What is the true color of love,

what shades and notes does it have

while destiny paints on canvas

on the easel of our lives?

Is it innocent white like babies face,

pinky like shy little girls´ cheeks,

maybe as green unripe fruit in the spring,

perhaps hot orange and passionate red?

Is it yellow with doubt and jealousy,

purple as longing, blue as deep sea,

gray with boredom and complaining

or black from quarrels, lies and cheating?

The colors wash out and fade away,

only one always shines as gold,

it is the most enduring of all,

only a mother will give that love.

Invisible Island

It is not marked on any map

Beyond the horizon, with an invisible face

No ship will reach that mysterious island

No one will ever live in that place

The wave breaks the news against a cliff

Seagulls kill boredom, that's their only role

A stormy wind bounces off the rocks

It penetrates furiously through the dark hole

Only waves come to the deserted shore

They leave a trail on the beach with no name

On the high seas, at the end of the world

All winters and summers pass the same

The lord of that island is holy silence

A life without purpose never makes sense
