Poetry Between The Worlds

 

"There is not a particle of life which does not bear poetry within it" - Gustave Flaubert

 

I am a fruit from the tree of life.

Between infinitesimal and vast worlds.

 

Planets, star clusters, galaxies.

Anthills. Bacteria and viruses.

And the fleetingness of the one-day.

I burn - a glow in eternity.

And the speed of light.

A nimble snail.

Supersonic aircraft

in insect phosphorescent eyes.

 

Poetry flows from every cell

of the tiny, the limitless and the eternal.

 

Lyrical Leaf

 

I write letters on cherry petals -

a wind carries them.

I recreate verses in my mind.

Whirlwinds lift them up to the sky-high

to the astral

with the whisper of the leaves.

 

We are in the chorus of art!

We feel the whole world as a homeland.

We have lived in the times.

Our dream is to be brothers with people,

with the animals - friends

and may harmony flourish on Earth!

 

Longing

 

I was in your youthful dreams

radiant, passionate, loving, hot...

Thank you for recognizing me

under the pleats of the holiday garment.

 

Our hands were touched by the light

and the sun boiled in you and me.

You saw me beautiful and realized –

we were reborn for the meeting.

 

A whirlwind of clouds whirled us

and thunder from ancient ages.

I gave thanks to God and to the world,

for the love we were blessed with.

 

We are filled with pure,

holy passion.

Countless galaxies

twinkle above us.

STOIANKA BOIANOVA, (Bulgaria) Physicist. Listed in “Guinness World Records” for HYPERPOEM, included in Know Her Words, PEN International Women Writers Committee Initiative to celebrate the best women's writing from around the world. She is the author of eleven books in the genres of poetry and fiction in Bulgaria. Co-author with Minko Tanev (her husband and partner in literature) of four bilingual books in English and Bulgarian published upon the invitation of Cyberwit.net, India and a book of poetry from Independently published, India. She has participated in more than 110 world anthologies with poetry, gogyoshi and haiku, and has publications in 30 countries.
