CONQUERED!
As the music invades my senses
I feel myself being teleported
To there where beings float
In seas of golden ecstasy
Being sheltered at all times from
discomfort
And never experiencing the need to
yearn
For that which they have not
Simply because there, the state of
being, itself
Is a celebration!
As the music invades my senses,
I instinctively open my laptop
And start writing
Words and words
Meant to be understood in between
their lines
As such is what I am after all
A poet, writing of puzzles
Of significant to me!
As the music invades my senses,
I do close my eyes
And let my head rest on the back of
the chair
Why, do they even matter
Those little arrows pricking me so
discretely
Meaning to fill me with emotional
and sensual swells
Bringing me to bite my lips
And wish I had the nerve
To act as the music plays over
In all of my senses
And in my whirling imagination!
IF IT IS ALL ABOUT LOVE
Is it all about love
Shall it ever be all about love
Pray, from the highest pink colored
clouds
I fell, after shedding off my
sparkling wings
Wanting to taste of the flavors of
mundanity!
Yet, I do claim to hold on to such
an existence
Merely out of love
Love for the power which bids me to
be
Safe and protected at all times
Yes, I do even keep searching for
love
Love, whose deep eyes shall stir up
My inert femininity
And bring me to a point where
I shall finally be able to love
This fallen mundanity!
Is it all about love
Is it the whole meaning of
existence
Living out of love
Living for love
Making the most out of everything
Because the real name of life is
love?
Pray, then, if it is all about love
If it shall be all about love
Then, allow me to unfold my
stagnant wings
Allow me to let myself be driven by
gales
And typhoons
So as to fall in the very
passionate embrace of love!
REFLECTIONS ON A RAINY DUSK
As my body morphs with the passage
of time
I sit and relax
Strangely,
Younger,
I had thought such would freak me
out!
But graciously,
I embrace the changes
Pray, it is merely life
Thrusting upon me its various
stages
And,
Claiming to be one so in love with
life
Why should I regret my youth or be
envious?
Pray, the thickening of my slimness
Is layered with the wisdom I have
acquired
The greying of my hair
Is tainted with all that I have
learnt so far
The wrinkles on my face as I smile
Rings with the tunes of the
awakening I've been thrust upon
Yes,
Life is merely part of the voyage
My body,
Whether young and firm
Or ageing and drooping
Belongs not to me!
Only my consciousness does
And this,
Remains a birthing star
Yes, this, remains a falling
waterfall
A peeping moon
A droplet of dew on a cactus
A rare bird
A burst of laughter emanating from
a toddler
A swell of a contented heart!
Pray, as I sit and reflect on the
passage of time over me
I can help not but sigh with glee
Of course, my heart does hold
regrets
But I shall bury these deep and
seal them
With cement
I am after all, a being bound by
social and moral rules
I am after all, a being bound by
physical nature
I am after all, a being bound by my
innate nature
I act, as per my limits
While hammering harshly on myself
That someday,
Nothing shall matter!
