ENTITY TOUCHED

Murmuring

As if talking

Entity touched

The elbows of stalking~

Unravel the strange story

Behind the dreams

Of times within the heart

Or so it seems~

She weeps of sorrow

Of so much regret

To be pushed aside

Knowing she could be next~

Seeing what tomorrow brings

Would be a relief

As tormented feelings fill her head

With so much grief~

Living through the gauntlet

Sipping the dreams from a capillary of time

She’s learned to live, love and rhyme

Since she is the poem~

The meaning and the metaphor

She is the seed of karma like no other

She is a thread wearing beads of faith

She is the prayer on the lips of eternity

HIDDEN IN SHADOWS

Against the sleeping trees

With a simple caress

Touches of lightning

Bring her to her knees~

Hidden in the shadows

Of naked branches

Spring has awakened memories

Of kisses running rampant

Waiting for another day~

That fateful rainy night

Holding the unknown

Like a stab in the chest

Emotions ran high

As she wept~

Not knowing what’s to come

Sitting at her window

Imagining she saw him at the gate

Running down the lane

Sailing into

The daunting sound~

With no plans for tomorrow

With a heartache so true~

Hidden in the shadows

Used to be a love

Waiting

Hoping

For one more night~

Raw passion and surreal longing

Wrapped within the tangible

Laced with the unknown

Perfected with desires' sprinkled~

Served on a canvas

For the privileged ones~

VASTNESS

I remember vastness

Loneliness of emptiness in space

I remember the blackness

Of nothing in my heart

I remember you~

The shallowness of the loss of you

I remember the kisses of life

That portrayed you~

Tears that loved you no matter what

As matters of the heart and soul

Of sadness

That should overcome

But can’t seem to move on~

I REMEMBER THINGS

Images to recollect

Not just the deep sleep

That comes from the fear

I remember things~

It’s more than just void darkness

The mind functions

As images pattern

Cold is felt slipping away

Time is distorted

I remember the beginning

I remember things~

There are no times for excuses

Reaching leniently for the love

That was to be no more

How I think of these things unknown~

In the darkness and coldness

Now they come through

Trying to erase

The times, the space, the void~

No one could ever take your place

I remember the space

I remember things

The vastness~

Expressions that melt even a stone

Compassion that can move mountains

Images make a home in the mind

And heart~

A poignant heart that's worth the

Weight of tears spent~

A beautiful journey of letters in each of the three enchanting heart piercing compositions by emotional intellectpoet Deborah Brooke Langferd. She writes mind searching lyrics in tune , retaining deep link with treasured memories of the past , never ignoring the present and cherished hopes for uncertain future .She is superb motivator for xocial change attempting to transform attitude of generations .Agree with her theme that the moments passed leaving behind vacuum in life ..
