BUTTERFLY KISSES

I was kissed by a   Butterfly
In the midst of my thoughts
As I stood all alone
Among   hundreds of flowers
Have you ever  been  touched
By   a   Butterfly’s   kiss ?
It’s a flutter
In the breeze
The most tender of touches
That releases
Its   peace
Like memories
That wave
In my dreams of tomorrow

THE WEEPING FLOWERS

Awoke to find
The flowers quietly weeping
The  stream   of tears
Beneath my feet
A path so strong and deep
The flowers and I
Cannot escape
The  darkness  or  the rain
The blooms downcast
Shed many tears
To wash away the pain
The weeping flowers
Reach toward the sky
To seek the slightest ray
And I, too, reach into the blue
Just like the flowers in rain

WALKING ON PETALS

Walking on petals
And leaves of gold
Beneath my footsteps
The crunching sound
Of twigs and branches
 The Moon greets
The morning Sun
While I drink my morning coffee
Take a deep breath
Inhaling the flower scented air
Mingled with the aroma of Caffeine
The squirrels and birds
Scurry along their way
They are not bothered
By my presence
Sometimes, even stop to pose
What a beautiful day
To enjoy the gifts of God
That allow imagination to  fly
Like the butterflies
In this Sunflower maze of wonder
That is life
