MONICA MAARTENS

MONICA MAARTENS

YOU TICKLE ME

You tickle me pink,
you make me think,
you're my desire,
you light my fire,
don't ever stop,
don't let my heart drop,
lift me up higher,
fuel my desire,
keep on going,
with love that's flowing,
tickle me some more,
until you reach my core.

STAGNATION

When the light goes dim
and we fall away,
when we loose all hope
and we go astray,
when life becomes too hard
and we can't see the way,
it's time for a mission
to brighten our day.

Something worthy, something good,
something sacred to change our mood,
something divine, something important,
something bigger to bring enlightenment.

We find our aim
and start to shoot straight,
a purpose in life
miraculously opens the gate,
the light shines brightly
showing the way,
a mission all we needed
to save the day.

Something to part of, something divine,
something that's special to make us feel fine,
something that reaches into our soul,
something of splendour to make us whole.

CHILDREN OF SHAME

The tragedy of hatred
breaking children so sacred,
the fruits of revenge
the elders on a binge.

The leaders disgraces
painted across children faces,
streaked with terror and fears
lines of silent tears.

Born for destruction
into evil instruction,
products of rape
no hope of escape.

Unwanted from conception,
mere objects of rejection,
bred to be used,
as puppets abused.

Children born from shame
innocently cast into the game,
hardened, with nowhere to run,
ripped and stripped of any fun.

The tragedy of hatred
defiling all things sacred,
the chains of captivity,
destroying children's reality.

  1. Excellent poems of the Supreme intellect & deeply felt passion that are meant for didactical purposes of life.
