Earth’s Gravity

Let your soil and passion embrace us
to make us

reveal our secrets!

Let your sky embrace us,

the sky that colours our love,

so we can learn the language of the earth in order to start a new life.
Earth, I love your smell!

Within you the soul gets mature and from my ash
a new love will rise,

and endless roots will be fed with my ash,
roots that will form a myth and
a thousand novels!

The Ship

Leaving with my back
looking with my eye
my only light, the moon.
My only companion, the wave.
The memories are beautiful
in nature.
Flights of joy to the ports of happiness
having the moon as a guide,
upon the wild waves
I travel across the Aegean’s darkness
and I get lost.

Travelling from Piraeus Harbour

A metropolis rises from inside the vast sea.
A bride of the Aegean seeks her match in vain.
She crawls on the high stairs seeking secretly
the blue sky for a fiancé.

A lively town with theatres and cafés

An oasis with beautiful people
A city with many buildings
Scheduled by specialists.

Everywhere beautiful diamonds of the past follow us
They still have something of their old charm

Everywhere at the palaces of the Aegean
Syrians full of life and happiness,
there, in those distant winter nights,
share their dreams with us on land.

The ship has just arrived
The Turkish delight and halva perfume
is waiting to sweeten
the dear passengers.

A wonderful world is hiding under
the velvet dusks
of the Endless Aegean Sea.
