The whole world enters my home

every day I invite relatives and friends

from shared greetings, we celebrate happy events,

moments of pain, life is not persuaded.

 

It is only granted from behind the crystal

it is not of the window or the balcony

it is the limiting gaze of broad passion

under the starry sky everyone starts the dance.

 

It is in clear distance of the physical body

yet concepts of hugs are expressed

of caresses and eternal kisses allowed

anyone and everywhere is elected friend.

 

There is no knowledge only friendship

big, dear and full-blown with no secret

celebrates love in its own right without prohibition

if there is no sadness it is all a delight.

 

How many people and how many times a day

enter and leave your home

with a click eliminated from any emotion

while everything circulates and turns around

 

to yourself and the earth's axis

without hesitation and physicality or warmth

the heart closes to every kind of love ...

after two moments millions of open windows.

 

My Home

 

Each room is a welcoming place

as in the labyrinth of the soul one breathes

pure and comfortable air, wind does not pull

sea ​​breeze on the carpet of the mind.

 

In front of the first rising red sun

of the new day beat and announcement

rays filtering the light for nothing I give up

it is a widespread spirituality in the environment.

 

In free meditation in every corner

The sweetness of home hospitality

it is not always the truth as it has been for centuries

it nests and creates vital propolis

tireless queen the honey bee pours out.

 

Sometimes the atmosphere inside the walls is bitter

as acrid gall are disfiguring deeds

they inflict useless punishments and low tears

also of values ​​and healthy principles woman is pure.

 

Hidden flames and secret suffering

appearance is only the facade of sin

yet in the universe the echo is amplified

that under the roof not even a moment is happy.

 

House shared by those who silently kill

he sacrifices his will with addiction

to rebel and not enjoy full freedom

ELISA MASCIA: Born in Santa Croce di Magliano (Cb), on 13/04/1956, she lives and works in San Giuliano di Puglia (Cb).  She is a retired teacher.  She is a writer, poet, declaimer, radio host, reviewer, sworn in poetry competitions, cultural promoter. Writing is a real need in life and is inspired by whatever or event surrounds it.
