Small Beach
It is as if a
storm threw us ashore,
we lay numb with
feelings
away from shame
and debt,
away from
pretentious arts.
On that little
beach - steep and stony
with overhanging
rocks, deep beneath the sky,
hugging each other,
we listened in the dark
the deep sighs
of the sea.
The Old Boats
Our old ships
are sinking.
They reached to
the bottom of their length of service.
Wooden troughs,
whose song is over,
washed up on the
autumn beach.
Our old memories
sink deep,
waves of noise
wash over them.
Until yesterday,
thoughts were high,
and today they
are a pain for the soul and the mind.
Singers without
voices - sing hymns,
but they
resemble only a wolf's howl.
A metaphor is a
powerless symbol,
and the battles
for honor - are pirate battles.
And no one lays
bones anymore
before some
great immortal verse.
No one can say
it simply:
- I lived
openly, suffered and created.
Nobody admits
his boat has sunk.
Each elevates
their ragged flag
and can talk
until dawn,
that he is the greatest
sailor.
Catamaran
Two small boats
tied together,
which have mast
and sail,
and storms they
have, they have an ocean,
and both boats
are a catamaran,
who flies over
the huge waves
on white days,
even on black days...
Or amid the
glittering ocean
we are one love
raft,
overhanging the
abyss of love...
And the wind
like a love song,
touches our
foreheads lightly
and there is no
fog in our souls...
The sky is both
blue and high,
and in our
thoughts - all the directions,
which are known
to the world
but they are
only possible in love...
For years we
wonder if
life won't tear
us apart,
to close the
circle for us too.
When they pull
us ashore
with you we will
live righteously and meekly
like two old and
lonely boats...
