MARY BONE
NATURE’S GIRL
Yesterday, I was nature’s girl,
Running free and wild.
The wind blew my hair into a twirl,
As I ran through forests undefiled.
I was jungle girl Jane,
I wasn’t plain.
The forest kept me sane.
Now the fast lane
Drives me insane.
Nature’s girl so carefree,
Now polluted with the world’s cares
I can’t go back to what I used to
be.
For I’m caught in too many snares.
MIDNIGHT SUN
Midnight sun over the artic,
A magnificent and memorable trip.
Icebergs were floating along
In the glow of the midnight sun.
There was a lovely palette of
colors
With illuminating lights,
An amazing journey, on a perfect
cruise.
There were no cares in the world.
SPRINGTIME IN PARIS
Springtime in the city of light,
On a redeye flight to Europe.
Paris was calling my name.
It was a turbulent flight
and I would never be the same.
