Let The Hair
Open
Let
the hair open and feel the breeze
succumbed
to heart wrenching injuries
posing
for more stimulating experiences.
Let
the hair let loose like Maa Durga
be a
warrior woman and ride a lion.
Be the
shakti- the strength that reflects your dominion.
Let
the hair flow free in the wind
and
feel the power of tenacity
upholding
it with utmost purity.
Let
the hair fall with stance of newness
chasing
every dream in the most versatile manner
creating
one's valor with utmost desire.
Let
the hair hold the onset of ingenuity
building
the charismatic flair
laying
down as calm as a mere.
Let
the hair behold the power of Maa Kali
the
symbol of energy- the Shakti
curating
the portrait of audacity.
Time Is Going
Like
the wind blows in the dark sky
and
takes with it the debris
that
was once scattered in belie.
Time
flies faster, faster than it could
making
us realise how sluggish we look.
First
day of school
First
day of vacation
First
date
First
kiss
First
real relationship
First
terrible breakup
First
real job
First
this and first that
When
we're young, life is full of firsts.
Time
seems to pass more slowly
everything
is fresh and bran-new.
Then,
we grow, and grow more fast
just
floating through life
and,
time passes just like that
as if
a feather falls from bird's thatch.
Learn
something new
Try
something new
Go
somewhere new
Write
something new
Speak
something new
Make
the life new.
Like
the rainbow that spreads its seven colours
in the
deep blue ocean of dreams
and
creates a magic for everyone to see
how
beautiful life can be.
Time
does fly and fly too high
aren't
we capable enough?
to
soar high!

Split
Personality
Our
face spawns a split personality
clinching
onto the fake reality
of
jubilation and complacency,
of
repentance and despondency.
Some
counterfeit,
some
ignorance,
some
hogwash,
some
imbecility,
murkiness
or a
zilch
Does
someone care
or put
in a state of hopeless despair?
Mutation
of feelings creating a hump
pilfering
the mere existence of being chump
punching
in hard enough just to perceive
nothing
is going to dwell or outjump.
Everything
squanders spreading the ember
commingling
the fragments of reminiscence
overpowering
the guilt of inconsolable longing
living
like a mortal with no yearning to live.

issues in the society. Just as there is freedom, there is a certain
responsibility towards the same. To choose to do good and be good within the
specified responsibilities, is freedom in action. 'The Humane Quest' is a
humble attempt to create awareness against the evils of society and stimulate
the strong Indian values which are lacking in the present times. Mehak Gupta
