Rise Like A Phoenix

Diving deep into the dirt and darkness,

to find what's hidden beneath the trouble,

seek for answers between all the starkness,

rise like a phoenix from ash and stubble.

The only way to ever find the truth,

is never run away from fear and dread,

reverse the lies and confusion of youth,

by facing the music head on instead.

There's nothing on earth like first hand knowledge,

going straight to the source of all our pain,

no one can lie when we rise with courage,

exposing the darkness for truthful gain.

We are right there in the dirt and darkness,

we see, we hear, we feel, we explore it,

no one can disguise the truth with slyness,

as we rise like a phoenix strong and fit.

Let love start to live again,

let mercy start to heal the pain,

let clouds burst to bring the rain,

cleanse the souls and let evil drain...

Let love spread its glorious wings,

let it fill the song a voice sings,

let it chime the bell that rings,

bring peace within the hearts of kings...

Let love flow like mountain streams,

fresh and clean to renew our dreams,

let it shimmer with brilliant beams,

reflecting sunlight as it gleams...

Let love start to live again,

fill our hearts with sacred gain,

bring us joy with no refrain,

restore our senses and make us sane.
