Broken Love

no winds resist thy love

to whom i report it

even police hates it

since my love is nothing

to those whom the love is suffice

but i merely come to say

my love is like red red rose

no one can hate it

because it grows like trees

never cries but smiles

though the love is far away

but never i have a complaint

since it grows like daffodils

no winds resist thy love

to whom i draw it

no body cares of it

for once it blooms in the spring

if not, it lets me be die

since the blue sky never smiles

to give lightning

Broken Mast

how can I reach an island

with my little boat

if the mast I used to sail is torn

It will be impossible

though the blue is bright

with no a hard wind

to walk on the sea would be sunk

that my body will be discovered by whales

I am used to seeing the waves

which may not kill thy breath

Darkness

No darkness found

As long as it is bright

No difficulty in lives

As long as it has a solution

What makes me be in doubt

If the sky is not bright

No cloud is wandering to help

No wind is to blow

No darkness found

As long as thy breath be in my body

If this is fulfilled

No life in chaotic

Since life is like daffodils

Growing under the trees

beneath the hills

That should be kept

in mind

As long as this world is not destroyed

What Is Life?

this life seems like mirage

it will be missing sometimes

when it has no meaning to dictate

that brings nothingness

for not like to be hoped

if it has a meaning as we guess

That may be kept in heart

for those who are in the love of lives

since there is no force

as like a bubble in the air

that can be chased everywhere

Showing a right for every man

as long as the sky is bright

to struggle for life

is the task of processing till to die

SIAMIR MARULAFAU

SIAMIR MARULAFAU was born in Nias, North Sumatra-Indonesia,17-05-1958.He was graduated from English and Literature Department, Faculty of Cultural Study,University of North Sumatra, Medan-Indonesia.He got his  master degree  in language and literature, many readers and people say that he is a Prof in his skill in English language  and literature. He is now still teaching English and Literature, and  writing  poems  and  short stories. His works were mostly published in social medias such as: "HUMANITY"(2015);"LIGHTING”(2016),and some other works or poems   in Indonesian language and English. He was a poet and  conducted a scientific paper and research in Terengganu, Malaysia,2017, Pahang,2017, USM Penang, 2017, Singapore,2018, UPM, Malaysia, 2018 and UNY, Yokyakarta, 2018, South Kalimantan-Indonesia ,2018 , Sumedang (West Java-Indonesia, 2019), and Aceh-Indonesia, 2019. Many of his research written in English were published in Proceedings and International Journals. He will be in invited to conduct reasearh as speaker about  language,  entitled  “Short Story in Language Teaching “  at Gajah Mada University,Joyakarta- Indonesia this  coming November,2019.
