Those Eyes
Those eyes
Spoke volumes
Without an utterance
or sound
Without a touch
They glistened
brightly
Like reflective pools
of Sunshine
They glittered full
of dreams
Floated high above
To amazing heights
They danced in rain
Drizzling all around
Spreading calm and
peace
They laughed
softly
Touching hearts
Like musical notes
That spoke of Life
and love
Eyes living without
haste
Silenced in shadows
Closing the shutters
Like a final curtain
call
When closing
To never open again
To share with us once
more
Your eyes most
beautiful
Said more than words
Could tell…
Love lived there
As did I …..

I Paint Pictures
I paint pictures
From the deep
On the skins
Of forests sweet
Weave thoughts
Like spider webs
I’m no mover but, a
shaker
Sprinkling all with
bits of rain
I’ve lost love like
autumn leaves
Keeping close those
honey bees
I Skip stones
Skilfully throne
across the lake
Skimming the surface
Breaking circular
waves
I am a grain of sand
With grand thoughts
And bigger plans
If my movement not
restrained
Not caught in pits,
dips and swampy plains
My mind moves without
feet
Savor love, admit
defeat
Float above the
foaming sea
Fall into the vast
blue deep
Here at last I take
my leave
In the Blue forever
sleep

The Burn
(The Amazon is
Burning)
I smell the Earth is
burning
And out of doors, I
flee
No fumes, no fire, no
cinders
The smoke and
burn
I’m sensing
And yet no fire I see
Could it be, me,
that’s burning?
Synapses quickly
shorting
While love is steady
flowing
From hearts to Earth
by sea
Is Heaven softly
calling
In smoke of clouds I
see?
The money men are
churning
And hiding like the
sheep
