GEORGIANA-LAURA GHEORGHE
Love
You, heavenly bird
Make your appearance
ever since we open our eyes.
Being new-borns in
your arms
You ease our pain,
You guarantee our
safety,
You calm our souls.
Being sprouts, you’re
welcoming us at the entrance
With your wings
spread.
The butterflies in
our stomachs begin to tread on air at your presence.
You give us wings to
fly,
Treats to recharge
our batteries,
Landscapes that are
easy on the eyes.
Every form you take:
A flower garden,
A house with its
doors opened,
Someone who’s
understanding and dear to us,
A playful kitten, a
sparkling diamond,
A dancing flame, a
sweet pie,
A friendly word, a
smile,
A good deed, a
relaxing song,
A dainty flower,
Or a rainbow that
stretches on the sky,
You’re everywhere and
anytime.
You bring happiness
within our hearts
We shed tears of joy
from our eyes.
You’re smiling at us
from above,
You’re giving us a
hug the way you can,
You’re giving us hope
when we’re in trouble.
Even when we’re
getting old, you never stop showing yourself to us.
You shine bright like
a star at night.
You caress us with
your rays during daytime.
In every form you
take, you love, give immortality to those who cherish you.
The Angel
Amongst the fluffy
clouds
A being with swan wings
Blue as a blue
cornflower eyes,
Golden curly hair
Like the wool of
God’s lamb
Is surfing on the
warm rays
Of the glowing
sphere,
The guardian of the
day.
The dove is his
travelling comapanion
She’s always with him
Through thick and
thin.
The celebrated winged
friends
Are keeping him
informed
About the deeds of
men.
His aura inspires us
hope
When we’re driven to
despair.
He cleans our souls
Simply with his
presence.
He whispers God’s
words
Into our hearts.
He protects us from
Creatures with bat
wings and horns.
Bravery, love,
kindness
And faith increases
his strength.
Together we make our
way
Through the jungle
that we call life.
Perserverence 1
Sometimes we feel
like we should quit,
The pain is too
great.
No, every bird should
get up
Spread its wings and
overcome obstacles without giving up.
