Waiting For A Long Time

 

Why don't you have time to call me today

But i am waiting for you for a long time

Meanwhile i am in the trouble of love

To share information about our last meeting

But never i destroy my love

I am in the love really

Caused by the hard wind whispered  

 

As long as this world is not going to the end

 

I always stand still to wait

Until you realize what to do

Why don't you have time to call me today

 

But never i delay my promise to wait

As long as what you keep in mind

For the love that never runs away

 

Why Do You Come To Me

 

Why do you come to me

But you can keep yourself alone

If you are considered as a tree

With full of stems and leaves

 

Why do you come to me

If you know how a tree be grown up

It may not grow up without roots

And it may have been spread somewhere to live

 

Why do you come to me

But i am alone for a long time

That never have a complaint

Though in the trouble to face

 

Why do you come to me

I am now to be a king of my country

Not like Ozymandias as you think by Shelley

You are not a loyal as i think

 

When i was alone to be asked to get out from the palace

Your love is not like a red, red rose

My hope is broken into pieces

Caused by the politic in a country

 

My Love Never Goes Away

 

Who says my love goes away

As long as thy heart in hers

Never I say like that

Because i am in the love

Since i meet her as a beautiful in my garden

 

It is hard to say the love goes away

If the heart is still in here

I know she never breaks her promise

that she is in the love really

 

But my heart is patient to wait

She is the rose in my live

She is a pearl in my life

when i come to swim at the bottom of the sea

She is the sunlight in the morning

She is the moonlight in the evening

 

Who says my love goes away

Except those, who feel annoyed

Caused by the happiness i face

Meanwhile her heart is in my mind

 

Love May Be One Or Two?

 

Love is only one

Not two for a while

Caused by situation

Why should be two

Women are beautiful creatures

They look like the green leaves

Easy to pick up whenever you like

Love is only one

Not two always

To avoid negative assumption

Women are beautiful roses

May not be in hurt

Though they are easy to seduce

When they are in the love

To gain the true love

Never they have forgotten

As long as the earth is not broken

Keep the love among

But only one to choose in life

To make the lives be in happiness

That's the golden life

Despite of insulting life uselessly

Let the love be one in the lives

To purify life coming into heaven

SIAMIR MARULAFAU: (Indonesia) He is a bilingual poet, writer and author who writes in English and Indonesian language. He has published 9 books. He is an active member of various poetry groups on Facebook and participates in many poetry contests. His writings are part of several national and international magazines, newspapers, journals and anthologies. He has won many awards for his poetry. Currently, he works as Associate Professor at the Faculty of Vocational ,University of Sumatra Utara, Medan-Indonesia. As a poet and lecturer , he conducted seminar in the forum of National and International as a presenter in many countries and Universities such as USM, UM,UPM, UPSI ,UGM, UNJ, University of  Trunojoyo, University of  Syahkuala Banda Aceh, University of Andalas and others.
