PIOTR KASJAS

PIOTR KASJAS

DECLARATION OF SENSITIVITY

Months pass by, specifying maturity in an illusory way,
recorded in the log of life’s adventures,
being a declaration of sensitivity.

Searching for the truth, I explore life constantly
and imbrue in the corners of suspicious thoughts,
confronting them with reality.

In the lyrical tone of the word with a bit of a love tragedy,
I pass by the bright and dark sides.
And in a gesture of personal breakthrough,
I fall into a passing mood
- the side effect of creative effort.

WHEN THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH

When the world turns out for us to be too small,
we’ll meet in sotto voce,
somewhere on the edge of the dream and consciousness,
somewhere on the edge of a new life,
overgrown by a distant memory.

And hurriedly tying our hands,
we’ll embrace the world with a last glance
and we’ll go without fear under the melody of the hearts,
along the current of the stars, with a clear conscience.

IN THE NAME OF LOVE

In the nooks of the sky, we hid our desires
and hope - the sleep that knows no illusion.

In the maze of words, we hid our loneliness
- the molten pain,
flowing as a teardrop suddenly released.

We live in an eternal journey upstream,
in the world where standards are set by the majority
and so easily we succumb to authorities.
Or to the symbolism of elusive dream,
which pretty dangerously overpowers thoughts.

And in the moments, where we should go, we stay
- in the name of love, in the name of social proof of righteousness.
