NGOZI OLIVIA OSUOHA

NGOZI OLIVIA OSUOHA

I Am Faithful

My faith may not be full

But I am faithful

I believe in God

The maker of the whole world.

My faith may not be full

But I am faithful

I believe in Jesus Christ

The only son of God.

My faith may not be full

But I am faithful,

I believe in the holy spirit

The messenger of God.

I believe in the Trinity, the Holy Trinity

God the father, God the son, God the holy spirit

My faith may not be full

But I am faithful.

My maker, my saviour, my guardian

My faith may not be full

But I am faithful.

I am faithful

Yet my faith fails me

Doubts, fears, wants, needs, desires

Yet I am faithful

Although my faith may not be full

I believe in God, the Father Almighty.

Hereafter

We are passengers and messengers

Onboard this earthly journey

Fading away like stars though we are stars

Moving through the earth

To arrive at our final abode, hereafter.

We are strangers at dangers

Waiting for the house owner

Guests we are, lonely and boneless

At the mercy of the landlord.

Come on fellow visitors

Cold and dark, the journey

Thirsty and hungry, our stay

Boring and suffering, our night

Hold on, stay put my brethren.

It's a desert, deserted

It's a challenge, challengeful

It's a test, detestful

It's a hope, hopeless

March on to match it.

Hereafter, our crown

In that Golden land

Hereafter, our glory

In that glorious home

No stranger

No more visitor,

Hereafter, the peace, the rest

That day in that blessed heaven.
