RIYA HEMANT
ROMEO'S SOLILOQUY
Juliet, oh Juliet,
My heart seems to have
disintegrated,
For Juliet, oh Juliet,
Your eyes are the stars and your
hair shines like the sun.
Sweet Juliet,
Even in death,
How can you manage to look ever so
pretty?
Juliet, sweet Juliet,
I would walk a thousand miles for
just one more day with you,
Die a thousand deaths to hear your
sweet voice once more,
But now you are gone, and I am
nothing without you.
Juliet, dear Juliet,
Hear my voice one last time,
I vow to you, dear Juliet,
That, for you, I will die.
Juliet, my Juliet,
Death has taken you for himself,
And left me all alone.
STOP AND THINK
Hate is such a strong word,
Have you heard that before?
I have - I get forced to use a
different slur,
And I get forced to hate more.
Stop and think.
How do actions speak louder than
words?
Yet the pen is mightier than the
sword?
How can one have faith in the
world?
When the world is confused itself?
Stop and think.
But maybe that's a good thing,
Maybe I should look before I leap,
And maybe he who hesitates is lost,
It is these types of sayings that
run skin-deep,
But yet it is these types of
saying,
around they are tossed.
Stop thinking and do something.
GHOST WRITER
What is a ghost writer?
I found out a few days ago,
When my dear friend Marley wrote to
me,
It started with a simple hello,
And carried on, rather graciously.
Good day, old friend, he wrote,
I could almost feel his presence,
Ah, I continued to think about him,
I dote,
For it had been a long time - his
absence.
He spoke about many things,
Things red, orange and blue,
And everything he wanted to bring,
Back home to me too.
As I neared the end of his letter,
And saw the final stamp, the colour
red,
If he had gotten any better,
For Marley, indeed, was long dead.
