MICHELA ZANARELLA
The Sun Can
What the sun can
when it touches
the skin to the trees
and it makes the
voice of the light heard
by the time
you breathe the
summer
the seagulls
started by dawn
to call the
morning
with a ritual of
jointed throats
the sand invented
the call
it flies for
every wave that forms in the sky
the benches, not
by chance, preserve the body
of the moon
every shadow is a
sitting star
to set (to fix)
scorching life, devoted to the sea
Between Me And
Your Soul
Between me and
your soul
a hinterland of
sky, a stream of light
where time fades
away and gets confused
among everyday
things
the stem of a
rose, a sharp pencil, composed powder
Love moves and
scatters thin happiness’s
among silent
attentions
it re-emerges in
us the sound of a comet memory
the tone of our
voices pronounces incandescent sequences
echo inside the
echo background of infinity
in its most
tender expression
Sky Full Of
Summer
Sky full of
summer
which light did
you choose to surprise us?
The sun is
already a performed miracle
but there’s so
much truth in the horizons to know
the air has
collected the conversations of the stars,
silence and
prayer
the dawn is indeed
made of the same substance of the night
it rises with the
breath of the moon, quietly.
