MÓNIKA TÓTH

The Unhappiness

The unhappiness lingers as always

The television is on as always,

nothing interesting.

The Coca Cola is lukewarm, as always.

I thinking of you.

I miss you so much

The unhappiness lingers as always

I Am Grateful

things that I am grateful for

I am grateful to be me

I am grateful for the warmth of a friend’s hug

I am grateful for the sunny mornings

I am grateful for the beauty that I can see

wonderful art

I am grateful for quiet eye contact

I am grateful for love and acceptance

for truth

I am grateful for the smell of a beautiful rose

I am grateful for smooth words

I am grateful for God

I am grateful for the shine in your eyes

I am grateful to be free

I am grateful never-ending poetry

I am grateful for hopeful happiness

I am grateful for the rainbow in your smile

I am grateful for the stars, moon, sun and sky

I am grateful for the difficult times.

I am grateful for all the things I have

Dear Friend Let Me Say

Happy Birthday

Happy Name Day

dedicated my nice Romanian friend Vasile

It's your Name Day.

and I'm thinking how glad I am

that you were born.

You have given me so much--

supported me, encouraged me.

Dear friend

let me say

something on this special day

I wish you many years of laughter.

I wish you all of life's best treasures.

Dear friend

let me say

something on this special day

though we are apart

you'll be always in my heart and soul.

Good luck and Happy Name Day
