of locusts and plagues

OK

cast me gently

unto the moon’s

violent waves

judge all our gods

under the microscope

to steal a cure

from the fine print

not every script

is practiced to a T

 

Of Stumbles And Riposte

Learning how to play chess

when confidence is already low

is the sure sign

of a masochist

or someone

who only knows

how to fight

when backed

into a corner

Reaction times may vary

but always keep an eye out for blinkers

What else can be said

about crazy horses?

They are born free;

are best wild.

It drove Nietzsche insane

to see one whipped

in the street.

It might do

the same to me;

stampeded under the hoofs

of my darling.
