In My Dreams

The midnight haze is in the air and
The lifeless soul void of
Feelings cannot be subdued
I fell into oblivion and got lost in dreams
Since you left,  I’ve been falling apart
I never wanted anything but your love
In my dreams, you love me
and you sustain my life
We belong to the same world
Without boundaries and limitations
Lost in space while counting a million stars
Locked in each other’s arms forever
Never go away
I hope I never wake up
I want to be with you forever

Last Breath

You are the most precious gift
Life has ever given me
You have shown the world in
different perspectives
Despite my imperfections and
Limitations at times
You bring out the best in me and
Make me shine my brightest
No matter what this life would bring
Even if it continues to give silent tears—-
The fate will be forever hostile
The mind will keep on remembering
Momentous nights and memories
The heart will keep on loving you——
Till the last breath of my soul.

Through the years
the sun has stopped shining
the moon has turned lifeless
the breeze has failed to refresh the soul
and the osmophores of the flowers
have ceased to attract pollinators.

Through the years
this life has seen twilight,
ambiguities, and uncertainties
The windows to the soul
can no longer be subdued

Through the years
I’ve been looking for that missing part of me
that gives life and meaning
Until thy soul came into view and
filled the emptiness and lifeless soul.
