DANIELA
ANDONOVSKA-TRAJKOVSKA
Eyes Full Of Soil And Soul Full Of Sky
The song
was awakening the sky’s vocal cords,
while the
migraine was dancing on Earth
with the
rose full of thorns in the mouth
The sky
in rapture couldn’t see the Earth
and the
Earth in sorrow couldn’t hear the sky
And when
the bird that sang on the tree
started
to give away the sky as if it was food for the soul
the
angels and the migraine looked into each other’s mournfully-blazed eyes
and
finally rested in peace
With the
eyes full of soil
and the
soul full of sky we left back home
Nothing
A single
Nothing told me once
that the
birth mark
splits
our eyes from our soul
Ever
since,
I always
look at the navel
of the
human to whom I say hello,
because I
want to see whether
he is
Nothing’s relative
that
whispers to me in my womb
A
Stone
There is
a stone that I pass by every day
and it
keeps returning in my palm
wanting
to be sure that I will be awake
in the
process of my birth
The Chain Of Eternity
In my DNA
I see your tail crawling
looking
for a hole
wanting
to get out
Moving Images
We got
itchy by the amniotic sac
folded
down with 2 grams of naphthalene
and
hidden under the rug.
We got
heavier by the chandelier
that
swears to us in fidelity
in the
house that everyone escapes in his/her-own room
We get
blind by the television
that
collects all of our images
that we
have torn apart from us
as it is
a vacuum cleaner
The
images left the house in quest for themselves
and we
were left in the house with the stoned gaze
in their
cracked heels.
