A distant feeling

to ward off contagion, respect

fake friend rejected so much

now I don't know how to be detached from you.

In Silence

 

In silence, harmonic meditation begins

in solitude populated by wonderful thoughts

aligned in the whirling circle of the whirlwind of the restless soul.

 

They burn vital energies

to chase particles of infinitesimal atoms

mixed in the cocktail of conflicting doubts and feelings that approach and vanish quickly,

often they remain gutted in the search for that certain I don't know what

even the slightest drop of dew becomes essential

to resume flight and glide

the undisputed eagle reigning over the sky

to scrutinize the visible red thread of the bond and weave it

to then take off at the limit of lonely borders

where, waiting for reunification,

that's where he hopes.

your eyes that speak to me to express what I do not intuit with words.

I saw the depth of a veiled melancholy

ELISA MASCIA: Born in Santa Croce di Magliano (Cb), on 13/04/1956, she lives and works in San Giuliano di Puglia (Cb). Retired teacher. Writing is a real need for life and draws inspiration from anything or any surrounding event. She has participated in various national and international poetry competitions obtaining awards, certificates of participation, merit and honorable mentions.She receives invitations and convocations to multiple international and world events, commemorative and themed events in which she participates. In July 2019 the first collection of unpublished poems was published in a book entitled "The Grater of the Moon" by the publisher L'inedito Letterario with the editorial by Fabio Martini.
