Sweet Pine Of My Childhood

 

Sweet pine of diamond childhood,

in your meadows I would like to lie down

and fill me with your apple kisses;

you were the fullness of my dawn

 

I joyfully enjoyed your pillow;

beauty that life could offer me,

in your arms I would like to buckle myself,

and without knowing anything about the adult world.

 

You are sweetness, my favorite fruit,

the sun that shines on my shores;

the muse that recreates my poetry collections.

 

You are the beautiful light that disinfects

everything bad about the quarries;

You will always be the flower of my closets.

 

Children Are Angels

 

Children are angels of the Lord.

spread their wings full of love

 

They are delicious strawberry chocolates,

They are fresh buds in bloom;

the divine song of the nightingale.

 

They brighten the landscapes with their laughter.

They have bustle on their shelves.

They are gentle lambs

and rampaging goats.

 

They are sweet buns

with a simple heart.

 

Children And Wars

 

 

May the doves of peace fly from the hands of children!

May they shine with their white smiles and sincere hearts!

May its light make the tough skin of people reflect.

 

They are innocent little birds

Why involve them in adult conflicts?

 

Let the kids play!

Enjoy the apple trees of your childhood!

May they live in peace!

 

they have a pure heart

They have the right to believe in a better world.

 

Stop the bullets and the wars,

Their noises terrify children,

stop the bombs and missiles.

 

there are dreams with crayons for children

Don't break them!

Don't cut off their creative hands!

 

Do not leave each other, brothers,

May those floral dreams be machine-gunned.

 

Children are the sun of the world.

With them you breathe cottons of peace.

EDITH ELVIRA COLQUI ROJAS, Peruvian poet born in Lima, studied Language and Literature at the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega University and Law at the San Martin De Porres University in Lima. She was a radio host: Poetry Paradise Program. She is the host of the children's program Niño en plenitude. Administrator of the poetry group from Nepal, group from India called Global Vision Literature and manages her own poetry pages and groups on Facebook, (Let's Live in Poetry, United Poets of the World, Children in Plenitude, Full Woman). The art of poetry and literature was born in her from a very young age. She writes in Mundo Poesía España, writes in Poems of the Soul, Shared Verses, The Poet's Attic, World Hispanic Union of Writers, Venezuelan Society of International Art, World Organization of Writers (OME) Parnassus and finally Facebook and Google and in which he has received numerous diplomas and recognitions in various poetic groups. First place in the Jotabé rhyme contest for peace 2019 (Spain), Seventh place in the Antenor Orrego group contest from Peru, Golden Carnation in the Venezuelan Society of International Art. Honorable mention in the Jotabé Ecuador contest. Her Google Poetry blog has more than 80,000 followers. She writes all kinds of poetry: Children's poems, romantic, classical poetry, self-help, surrealism, gothic, social, etc. She has written several stories for adults and children and is writing her novel “The Red House” which she will soon publish.
