DIKBASANIS CHRISTOS

Dreams And Battles

Dreams

Dreams in space

Dreams in the night of infinity

Dreams in the night of chaos

before death

Dreams in the Universe

before death of warriors

Of warriors

who filled the Universe with dreams

Battles

Battles after dreams

Battles of warriors who dreamed

before the flames of war

Battles of fighters

who made dreams come true

before the final dream

of death,

of death

without dreams

in its eternal darkness

The Angels

In the immobility of the eternal wounded time,

in the absolute silence of infinity

the whispers of myths

are broken for dreamlike beings

from other dimensions

Their spectral bodies glow with mystery

sent by a tireless God

In the invisible smile of angels

our soul is at peace

In death before us they learn to be patient

Courage to show

when hideous shadows

torture our tomorrow,

when hopes can't fly

with ruffled wings,

when our faces fade

of trampled dreams

when our cries spread

on the rough skin of the Universe

and the futility of moments

My Otherworld Love

When we met, you gave me a flower

unexpected and unique

from the pure plains of your nano planet

I knew the language of your strange flower

"My fragile leaves," it told me,

as I clutched it awkwardly in my palm,

"they will survive your heart"

I knew the language of your dwarf flower,

that's why I made your love a talisman

Today I wake up to fires and sobs

otherworldly monsters that plague my life

Bloody stones and mausoleums of dreams everywhere

The only thing that has remained intact

is the strange flower with the voice of tenderness

to enclose the leaves of my heart

The Things That Belong To Us

The vanity of people is endless

It is spread by the defilement of the air

up to greed dioxide in space,

from our unholy desires

till to the unfair competition of profit

We launch the aura of our dreams

at the ends of the universe,

looking for planets of happiness,

cause we can't stand life on the globe such as

we humiliated her

The light of our visions

for a bright life

no longer flashes continuously

Now it repels us

other times it invited us

Other wishes remain

at the bottom of pessimism

Others reach the peak of greed

We continue the fight between

the impermissible and the defiled

to the indifference and the failure,

to the forbidden and the unjust

We hate to love the environment,

the Nature, our eternal home.

But they are beside us

some minimal dreamers

which they fiercely claim

what suits us and belong to all of us

Life And Love Are Elks

Silent night, immortal night

Our love is born

The desires as elks run quickly through the snow

The dark past seems a distant dot,

like all the sighs of our life

The iced wind hits us, but in a purifying way

He is happy for us, smiles at us, sings songs to us

for the first day of a new reality

It floods our heart with pure light

It’s in our hands

that it may never again be extinguished

It's up to us to have always lucid dreams

No chain of malice and hatred

can enslave us again

No one darkness, none war

can extinguish our hopes anymore

for a peaceful tomorrow

No more screams to be heard

at the last frontiers of the world

May life and love always be the glowing dears

that will take us away

from the hardships of injustice and pain
