GEORGIANA-LAURA GHEORGHE
The Heart That
Cries
Inside the body
that is cold as ice
Lies the core of
the soul.
Evil and greed
made it weep.
Even after the
Lady in Black’s embrace,
Anger masked the
sorrows of the heart
That is beating
loud to make herself heard.
Dragobete’s
Beloved son of
the Queen of Spring,
Teach us that
nature’s symphony is a feast for the ears,
Guide the birds
to our lands
Those are still
sleeping under winter’s blanket.
Spread love
everywhere,
Give the grieved
people a hug,
Open the chest of
the locked hearts
And help the
lovers declare their love for each other.
February
The second month
of the year
In which the
birds are serenading
On the snowy tree
branches.
The last month of
the Snow Queen’s reign,
It’s two to three
days younger than his brothers and sisters,
The moment of the
purification of the soul
And getting the
agricultural equipment ready to be used on the field.
