CLAUDIA PICCINNO

CLAUDIA PICCINNO

My Say On This Obituary

My say on this obituary

is no needed

better would express a stone

rolled

in the pit.

Each stone a thought

Each thought a name

Each name a cross.

Leaf, stone, scissors

To tell, to do, to kiss

Look at me father.

Do not call me.

Let me live

again, seasons of joy.

May I live blue mornings

and pick a poppy to

lay at your feet.

Let the bells ring

in celebration,

may I sing the song

of cicadas

may I come back

as a seagull on the Bosporus

as a swallow in the sun.

Look at me, don't pronounce

for now, my name.

Su questo necrologio non occorre

Su questo necrologio non occorre

il mio dire,

meglio s'esprime un sasso

fatto rotolare

nella fossa.

Ogni sasso un pensiero

Ogni pensiero un nome

Ogni nome una croce.

Foglia, sasso, forbice

Dire, fare, baciare

Guardami padre.

Non chiamarmi.

Lascia che io viva

ancora stagioni di gioia.

Che io viva azzurri mattini

e colga un papavero da

deporre ai tuoi piedi.

Lascia che suonino

a festa le campane

che mi stremi il canto

delle cicale

che io possa tornare

gabbiano sul Bosforo

e rondinella nel sole.

Guardami, non pronunciare

per ora il mio nome.

White Flag

Climbing to the sky

I wave a white banner

to greet those who have undertaken

a single journey.

Geraniums bloomed;

they tell me that life goes on,

that I have to ignore the fear

if I want to stay.

So I'm looking for the blue of the day

in order to start again ...

Bianco vessillo

Abbarbicata al cielo

Sventolo bianco vessillo

per salutare chi ha intrapreso

un viaggio senza ritorno.

Fioriti i gerani

mi dicono che la vita prosegue,

che devo ignorare la paura

se voglio restare.

Attendo l'azzurro del giorno

per ricominciare...

Crucified By Shoulders

Circular volutes

in the slanders of others

put her by shoulders on a cross.

She died thus,

stoned by lies,

vilified by the women of her team.

Proud her eyes turned to the Eternal,

for all the witches who ended up at the stake,

for all the martyrs of the mediocrity of others.

She denied her smile to those who pointed at her out

wearing the burka of submission.

She left like that,

crucified by shoulders.

A poem about moral injuries and real female kill perpetrated with complicity of jealous women
