My Longing
Will I find you
again
old road along
the river
where the linden
trees smelled
like tea from a
mother's hand.
Will I recognize
these places
which are written
in me,
down to a fine
particle
every drop of
life.
Memory folded
into one,
woven like a
wreath,
like on midsummer
the river of life
still flows.
Behind this road,
behind the linden tree,
a place of
distant dreams,
where the bread
with grain coffee
it tasted so
wonderful.
Can You
remind me of myself
when you were
closer to God.
Woven with the
same love
one life means.
.
Remind me - I
forgot
the warmth of the
safe hands
and kidnap the
horizon
where we will
dance in the stars.
Then everything
will be quiet
frustrations and
regrets are pointless.
Hug please
after all you
burn with love.
Maybe Closer To
You
If I had lived
then -
I would have my
hair covered with a brooch
long, carefully
braided,
brightened by the
sun.
I would carry it
in baskets
washing to the
stream,
where in crystalline
water
the sky is
reflected.
I would live in a
hut
wooden, under
thatched roof,
a group of
children in it
carefree as the
wind.
And from time to
time
in a long-carded
dress,
among hills and
peaks
she confided in
God.
