RAJASHREE MOHAPATRA

RAJASHREE MOHAPATRA

Calling You ...

Calling you

In this sad hour

Are you in the distant heaven!

Or in the ancient sky!

Reveal to me your profound secret.

Now air is silent and sea is speechless

In my heart, a weight of grief

A burning desire to behold thee

A prayer in this broken temple

for you to come in ...

Joys are not ceaseless here

Creation is bright on dark shadows

The scenes are filled with ...

the dead and dying

A play among the actors in this planetary theatre.

My Love Goes Beyond...

My love goes beyond

Your frozen winter

When Blizzard whisper

A dream in future.

My heart goes beyond

Your cloudless skies

When auroras glitter

Waking with laughter.

My heart goes beyond

Your wild dreams

When fire dances

Hanging on the ridge.

My heart goes beyond

Your lonesome heart

To seek heights

Of soulful flight.

My heart goes beyond

Your frozen tears

To realise my flame

Which is not tempestuous fire .

Cosmos...Our Self-State

Mind rolls on memory trails

Glued to the past

Tied with pleasure and pain.

We forget our true self

Grow up knowing less,

Losing freedom to see the present.

Singing the songs of many sorrows

Chaos and confusions

Plough deep furrows.

Seeds of miseries

Germinate well

Mind seeks a trail to escape.

Life is like a ladder

Stepping the lower rung, we aim higher

From foolishness to wisdom.

The experience of completeness,

Open the doors of inner space.

Existence creates a magic of joy

The cosmos is our self-state
