Give The Smile Back To Syrian Children
The looks of the
children of Aleppo have lost their amazement forever,
in return, their
hearts swelled with anguish.
Give smiles back
to the children of Aleppo.
All around now
only bombs, destruction, desperation, rubble on display,
have been
replacing their carousel for some time.
Give smiles back
to the children of Aleppo.
The city is
spooky
there is a lack
of food, houses, toys, roads and hospitals,
nothing is
normal anymore.
Give smiles back
to the children of Aleppo.
Sad and bitter
is their fate and because of wickedness
and of the
serious and atrocious war
their glances
only capture
the images of
cold death.
Give smiles back
to the children of Aleppo.
But the rainbow
of hope and love will return and give back again
light of love
and tender smiles in their hearts.
A World With The Colors Of Peace
Hisses are heard
that we leave behind
strange
silences.
Now, silent are
the heartbreaking cries of the little innocents,
become useless
sacrificial lambs.
Silenced with
them are also the dirges, raised to heaven,
by their
desperate mothers.
All around is
silence. There is left
only a strange
smoke.
It is the soot
of destruction
and death
Coming from a
fratricidal war.
Yet it is known
that no war ever made sense,
because' it
created only losers and never winners.
That is why, on
my knees, and with these short verses,
I ask my God
That we lay down
our arms.
Let the world
arise armed
Only with olive
branches,
invoking peace.
I ask that love
be spread
And the feeling
of brotherhood.
We all have so
much need
That the world
colors its borders
With the hues of
peace.
Peace, Beyond Clouds Of Smoke
Here are clouds
of black SMOKE
on the horizon,
for Europe.
They are suspended
in a blue sky,
filtered only by
yellow sun rays.
They are the
same
colors of the
outraged
flag of
invaded Ukraine.
This one flies
under the breath
of the
unexpected
hisses of war.
She is outraged
from Russian
bullets,
who, out of
power, leave
only fear and
rubble.
At every moment,
courage grows
of the
indomitable
Ukrainian
patriots.
They fight
and I'm beyond
hatred and
contempt
of human
madness.
It remains in
their hearts,
heartbroken,
The faint ray
of hope.
May PEACE
of the world
never be denied
by the invading
tyrant.
